I’m feeling pretty chuffed !
My article featuring the technique Paper Cut Mandala’s was in Down Under Textiles Magazine.
Taking inspiration from a demonstration table at the Cooparoo Quilters Show, I began folding, cutting and fusing fabric, painted fusible and paper, to make layered geometric designs. I then did a demonstration/play day at my textile art group Reddy Arts. The wonderful thing about taking this technique to my art group was that they all took the basic concept and went on their own artistic journey. Photos of the first steps of their creativeness feature in the article.
